Welcome to Chord Progression Music - Community Music For The Mind. 

Our mission is to deliver community based music workshops,  promote positive mental health through music, encourage the public to engage in playing a musical instrument, whilst collaborating with others and having fun as part of a band.

Teaching Guitar, Bass, Drumming, Keyboards and Vocals for beginners in a positive and welcoming environment, the aim being to help participants quickly learn instrument basics and play songs. Alongside this, offering the joyful experience of playing in a band, whilst meeting new people with a shared goal.

With this we take our participants of varying abilities to playing competently as a group, in a very short space of time. Having the experience of learning songs quickly and adapting them for playing to audiences, gives us good knowledge to pass on and a few tips to help make learning easier to begin.

Sessions are aimed at providing confidence building support through music for sufferers of mental health difficulties related to depression, social isolation, stroke recovery, addiction recovery, autism, althseimers and dementia.
Utilising professional training within music in healthcare settings and experience of adapting music to healthcare environments.  

We also offer a number of workplace, social and group events aimed at team building, enhancing group dynamics, boosting confidence, and having fun whilst learning something new.

With numerous years of teaching, gigging, live performance and music business knowledge at our disposal, we can make your event go with a fun and musical bang ⚡️💥🔥

Our unique brand of positive music making workshops will be available to come to you and deliver sessions to suit your requirements.  In all cases, no previous musical experience or ability are required, everything is learned on the day.

We offer:
🎼 Workplace wellbeing and team building sessions - Ideal for smaller business and workforce to bring staff together and learn to appreciate cooperation and teamwork in a different way 🤝🤩

🎼 Corporate events involving full band sessions and performances - Full or half day events, participants learning popular Rock  & Pop classics. Finishing the day with performances and perhaps even a battle of the bands 🤟🥳🏆

🎼Teams, community groups, institutions and clubs - Would your team, club or social organisation like to try something different for your participants? We have just the thing that can help with social interaction, wellbeing, group dynamics and guaranteed fun 🤩🎹🎤

🎼Festivals and local community fairs - Event participants can join a band, learn a song and play it for the passing crowd in our on the spot, pop up band sessions. We can alternate between family groups, adults or kids only, men's or womens bands or just turn up, say hello, join a band and play 🎊😊

🎼Birthday parties, family events, stag and hen parties - If you have a special occasion planned and want a completely unique, interactive and above all, fun type of entertainment.
